Yukimoto is a Japanese restaurant located in Iida City, Nagano Prefecture. It is well-known for its kaiseki cuisine that highlights seasonal ingredients such as Matsutake mushrooms and game from the southern Shinshu region, conveniently situated within walking distance from Iida Station.I had the special course, which included:- Fuki (butterbur) Tsukudani and steamed rice- Homemade sesame tofu with asparagus dashi- Salted squid with cucumber- Chiyogen ton (pork) with wild garlic and grilled rice cakes- Grilled sweetfish from the Tenryu River- Chilled chawanmushi (savory egg custard) with snap peas- Fried Tsukumo bear with new onions- Round eggplant with sesame sauce- Amago (landlocked salmon) with new burdock and watercress- Honey-glazed green plums- Chiyogen ton with garlic shoots, fish balls, romaine lettuce, and shabu-shabu- Rice with fuki no to (butterbur shoots) miso and grated yam- Ume yogurt ice cream in a monaka (wafer) shell.
