Located just a 4-minute walk from Hankyu Mukonoso Station, I visited "Yakitori Taniguchi," a bronze award-winning restaurant featured in the top 100 yakitori spots.I made a reservation through the OMAKASE website and arrived on a weekday at 8:30 PM.I ordered the omakase course for JPY 13,200. Starting June 1, the owner, Yuta Taniguchi, has moved to the new location "Yakitori Taniguchi Tenjinbashi," and this branch is now run by his top apprentice, Saori Ito, offering a great value at JPY 3,300.The yakitori made from Takasaka chicken was juicy and delicious.Among the selections, the negima (chicken and green onion skewers), tsukune (chicken meatballs), and sekan (chicken liver) were particularly outstanding.I enjoyed every bite until the end. However, some items were a bit too salty, so a lighter touch would have been perfect.【Today's Menu】1. Soup 2. Chicken thigh tataki with ginger 3. Liver and heart sashimi 4.
