This was my fifth visit to Tori Shige. I made a reservation for 5:30 PM and opted for the chef's omakase course priced at JPY 9,800. Every time I visit, I look forward to the experience, and once again, it did not disappoint with its wonderful offerings.Starting with uterus, mountain chain tripe, and more, followed by tenderloin and chicken thigh, each dish showcased the rich flavors of the ingredients, leaving me completely satisfied. The different textures and tastes of each cut made me excited for the next dish to arrive.What stood out to me was the speed at which the dishes were served. The efficient pacing meant I hardly felt any wait time, allowing me to fully enjoy the flow of the course. This level of consistent operation is truly commendable. Not only was the food delicious, but the pleasant dining experience was also impressive.To top it off, we had new noodles and even truffle rice balls. The course was satisfying from start to finish, and the truffle rice balls, in particular, were aromatic and the perfect way to conclude the meal.The staff were attentive and provided excellent service, making my time enjoyable even in a busy restaurant. Thank you for another wonderful meal and experience. I am truly grateful.Even after five visits, the charm of this place makes me want to return.
