I started lining up 20 minutes before opening on a weekday (at 17:40), but I couldn't get a spot at the counter for the first round. Instead, I made a reservation for the second round and enjoyed the view of the Kamo River while waiting.I opted for the Omakase (raw meat + cucumber), and added some liver, meat rolls, and simmered dishes.Once a seat became available, they called me, and I headed straight to the restaurant from the Kamo River.It had been a few years since my last visit, so I had completely forgotten the process, but the staff kindly explained everything to me.The raw meat (no photos allowed) was exceptional, especially the tongue. After finishing the Omakase course, I was able to order additional dishes.Every dish was top-notch, making it well worth the wait.Since reservations are required for groups of three or more, I believe lining up 30 minutes before opening increases your chances of securing a counter seat.I had a wonderfully satisfying time! It was a great meal! ✨
