This is a high-end yakitori restaurant near Shinjuku Station. However, the seating is quite close together, so it’s not a place for a quiet and leisurely meal. They offer omakase courses priced at JPY 8500, JPY 9800, and JPY 12000, and I chose the JPY 8500 course (16 dishes). Both the first and second floors were fully booked, and I estimate there were about 20 staff members just on the second floor. It’s a really bustling place. The meal started with liver, and everything was delicious. The course included steak, with options for tenderloin, strip loin, and outside skirt, but they ran out of tenderloin, so I ordered the outside skirt. It was tender and very tasty! For the final dish, I could choose between zosui (rice soup), warm noodles, or soup, and I opted for zosui. The broth was rich and truly delicious. Interestingly, after the first two dishes were served, there was a bit of a wait for the next dish, but as a result, they served caviar rice balls as a complimentary addition after the zosui. I was quite full, but it was delicious! Including beer, the total came to about JPY 11500 per person. It was a great meal!
