【Menu Overview】12 Dishes5 Tempura Rice Balls1 Rice Dish5 Chilled SakeTotal: JPY 19,380Located a 10-minute walk from Joushin Station, this Japanese restaurant is nestled in a residential area. This visit marks my long-awaited return after 5 months. There are no set courses, only à la carte options. We started with sashimi. There are 6 types of sashimi available, and I always order them all. The sea bream, in particular, has a firm texture and an exquisite mouthfeel.I also always order the classic vinegar miso dish. It’s simply mixed vegetables and shellfish with vinegar miso, but it’s delicious. The vinegar miso is smooth and rich, and the balance of acidity and saltiness never fails to impress. The dashimaki (rolled omelet), hanpen (fish cake), and sukiyaki are well-known staples, and today they were exceptional as always. Finally, we had tempura rice balls and egg over rice. This time, we prepared 21 pieces for 7 people. Since the other 6 were first-time visitors, I prioritized ordering for them, and we ended up with 5 left. The ingredients used are rice, shrimp tempura, and salt. There’s nothing particularly special about it. But it’s delicious. Incredibly delicious. I doubt I will encounter such amazing tempura rice balls again in the future. It was a great meal.【Menu】◯ Tachiuo (beltfish)◯ Sardine◯ Meichi (a type of fish)◯ Kanpachi with citrus◯ New Spear Squid◯ Sea Bream Sashimi◯ Vinegar Miso (with turban shell, squid tentacles, and asparagus)◯ Kakumi (a type of fish)◯ Dashimaki (rolled omelet)◯ Hanpen (fish cake)◯ Sukiyaki with beef and myoga (ginger)◯ Sweet Yuba Tofu with Okra Miso Soup◯ Tempura Rice Balls x5◯ Egg Over Rice
