I made a reservation for a weekday lunch three days in advance. Although it's a bit far from Nagoya, I had been curious about this highly-rated restaurant on Tabelog for a while. It’s about a 9-minute walk from the nearest station. On this day, the restaurant was relatively empty, and there were some guests who arrived without a reservation.I ordered the weekday special: Special A5 Grade Female Wagyu Hamburger Steak Lunch for JPY 2,900.The hamburger is made with 100% Wagyu beef, and you can choose one of the following three options: - King Crab Cream Croquette - Fried Hokkaido Scallops (2 pieces) - Fried Kuruma Shrimp (+ JPY 600).I chose the King Crab Cream Croquette. The hamburger was coated in breadcrumbs and fried, resulting in a crispy exterior and a fluffy interior. You can really taste the sweetness of the meat, highlighting the quality of the ingredients. It’s delicious on its own, but you can also enjoy it with demi-glace sauce or rock salt for a flavor change. Personally, I preferred it with rock salt the most! The flavor is rich and pairs well with rice. The King Crab Cream Croquette came with tomato sauce and lemon. The acidity of the tomato and the cream complemented each other perfectly, and you could really taste the crab flavor, making it delicious. The marinated cabbage salad was generous in portion. The fact that the salad was marinated made it feel a bit more sophisticated, which was a nice surprise (laughs). The bread was crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside, and it was delightful when spread with butter. If you choose the rice set, it comes with rice and red miso soup. Both the hamburger and the salad, along with the side dishes, were carefully prepared, and I can understand why it has such high ratings on Tabelog. ☺️It was a great meal!
