I visited on a Sunday.I arrived at 8:00 AM and received ticket number 21.There was only one parking spot left near the restaurant, but there are several dedicated parking areas nearby that can accommodate a good number of cars.I waited in the air-conditioned waiting room. At 8:45, we were instructed to line up in order of our ticket numbers in front of the restaurant.By the time it opened at 9:00, there was a huge line—there must have been around 150 people. Some customers who arrived at that time decided to give up and leave. While waiting, they took our orders. The options were hot or cold, large or small. I chose a small hot udon. After a short wait inside the restaurant, they brought my udon. I topped it with green onions and ginger, and added a raw egg for an extra charge.I then carried my bowl to the register in the grocery store section of the restaurant to pay. Payment is cash only.I returned to the waiting area with my bowl, but no one was saving seats. Everyone seemed to eat quickly and leave, allowing for smooth turnover. From arrival to finishing my meal, there was a systematic flow, which helped manage the long line efficiently. The udon was incredibly delicious. It had a strong chewiness, but unlike Marugame Seimen, it didn’t have a bouncy texture; instead, it had a pleasant bite.I broke the yolk halfway through, but I wondered if I really needed the egg.As expected from a popular restaurant!
