I happened to make a reservation for a special occasion and visited.The dishes were not as surprising as I had hoped.Perhaps my expectations were too high.The first finger stick was the most delicious.The caviar I had longed for, the foie gras-like dish, and the crispy sea bream were all a bit underwhelming.Maybe it’s just a matter of personal taste, haha.Each dish had a generous portion, and I heard it was hard to finish, so I switched to the main course-only option for JPY 33,000.I significantly reduced my lunch beforehand, but I still couldn’t finish everything.It was a feast of wagons!Bread wagon,Cheese wagon,Sweets wagon 1,Sweets wagon 2.The souvenir bread I received on my way out was also a bit disappointing.I usually love the regular Robuchon bread.The staff were friendly and smiling, and I was told that it’s understandable that reservations are hard to get.However, I saw another staff member handing out business cards and saying, "Please contact us," right in front of me.I would have preferred that to be done during the farewell in the spacious dining area.I preferred the menu at the Roppongi branch.
