I found this renowned restaurant in Kyoto while searching for a place to celebrate a family occasion. It felt like fate, and I enjoyed the ambiance and the dishes, which seamlessly integrated ingredients, techniques, seasonality, and hospitality.I had heard that photography was not allowed at the counter, so I reserved a sunken kotatsu seating on the second floor to have a more relaxed conversation. The staff was attentive, bringing dishes while observing our conversations and drinks. The meal began with an appetizer that built anticipation, followed by a soup that highlighted the season, sashimi that showcased the ingredients, grilled dishes that enhanced the aroma, and a main course that brought a sense of calm. I had a wonderful time.
