I searched for restaurants around Akita Station on Tabelog and discovered an incredibly highly-rated yakiniku restaurant. To my surprise, it ranks 4th in Akita Prefecture! I was so intrigued that I called on the same day and was fortunate enough to get a table early.I ordered the Yuku Course. The quality of the meat was excellent. Eating this level of meat in Tokyo would probably cost twice as much! The platter featured beautifully arranged beef, pork, chicken, and lamb. The presentation of the meat was lovely. However, it did have the characteristic richness of flavors found in the Tohoku region. The cold noodles had a refreshing taste with a rich depth, and they were absolutely delicious.
