I made a reservation for 11:30 AM on the weekend. I booked the OMAKASE a month in advance! The reservation fee was JPY 780 for two people.I ordered the Hamana Lake Shiko Unagi Special Rice Bowl (JPY 7000) and also requested green tea and black oolong tea. The refills are free, and the staff frequently comes to refill our cups.About 30 minutes after arriving at the restaurant, the unagi was served! I could see it being carefully grilled while I waited. This was the first time I had unagi that overflowed from the bowl!Since I rarely eat unagi, I can't compare it to others, but it was crispy on the outside and juicy and fluffy on the inside—absolutely delicious! The chopstick rest was shaped like unagi, which was adorable! It was a great meal! ^_^
