Located about a 7-minute walk from JR Nagahama Station, this restaurant is situated in a shopping street just off the Kurokabe Square. The chef, who trained in Hokkaido, sources fish primarily from the local Nagahama area, including sweetfish and trout from Lake Biwa, as well as fish from the Omi Market, delivered fresh from the Susue Maeda Fish Shop in Shizuoka. He skillfully prepares Edomae-style sushi and offers a delightful selection.I chose the Biwa Course priced at JPY 15,400. Today, I was fortunate to enjoy a variety of fresh ingredients from Susue Fish Shop, including local fish from the Shizuoka coast, as well as unique offerings like young sweetfish nigiri and Lake Biwa trout, which are specialties of the region.Overall, I found this course to be highly satisfying, especially considering the quality and attention to detail at such a reasonable price.I have provided explanations for each photo below.
