I visited to celebrate a birthday. Despite being a long-established traditional French restaurant, the course reflected the sensibility of the recently appointed young chef. The presentation was beautiful, and the traditional sauces were rich without being overwhelming, making it easy for women to enjoy the meal until the end. The specialty dish, the squab wrapped in pastry, had no gamey taste at all, and the cooking was superbly done and delicious.
