This was my first visit.I called the day before to make a reservation for eel. I tried to reach them over 30 times between opening and around 2 PM, and finally got through. On the day of my visit, I arrived at 9:10 AM and made a reservation in line. They start calling reservations around 9:50 AM, so it seems you need to stay close to the restaurant to avoid losing your spot.I entered at 10 AM and ordered Unaju (grilled eel over rice) and Unakimo (grilled eel liver). The Unakimo was served right away, and the Unaju arrived about 30 minutes later. It was fluffy and delicious! It was definitely worth coming early in the morning. It was a great meal!
