I started my day a bit late after climbing the Torii gate in the sky from early morning, but I managed to be the 20th in line by 8 AM on Saturday! After leaving KKG at 2 AM, I was ready for some morning udon after a good workout! ♡(人*´∀`) I come here every month to my favorite Suzaki Shokuryohin Ten! Even though it’s not strictly an udon shop, the noodles have a wonderful chewiness! The way they prepare the noodles shows they really consider the turnover rate. (*´∀`)♪ The owner works hard wearing a Mario hat even in the heat at 8 AM! What I ordered was: ◇ Cold: Small [with an added Isobe-age for about JPY 180] for me. I also added a raw egg! Tax included, it was JPY 400 ♡ and the raw egg was JPY 60. ◇ Cold: Large [for my husband, not sure what else he ordered] I believe it was around JPY 500 (tax included). He also added a raw egg, which I think was JPY 60. I absolutely love the chewiness of the noodles here, and the way the raw egg blends in is just amazing! ♥ I really enjoy it! (*´∀`)♪ Plus, it’s affordable! The way they prepare the noodles is so refined! (/▽\)♪ There are two dining areas; in winter, there’s a stove, and in summer, they have air conditioning! ♪ On the table, there’s a bottle of concentrated dashi soy sauce, but it’s quite strong, so please use just a little! (人*´∀`) Thank you for the delicious meal!~ (^.^)(-.-)(__)
