I visited "Wakuden" in Kyoto for a Japanese lunch.Upon entering the restaurant, I was pleasantly surprised by the spacious interior designed with a Japanese aesthetic. The open kitchen added to the sense of freedom and special atmosphere. The lunch was more substantial than I expected, providing a great sense of satisfaction. The highlight was definitely the mackerel sushi that was simply delicious! This dish left a lasting impression on me.While I did feel that some combinations of dishes might not have been the best match, and there were slight differences in presentation, overall, I believe the value for this lunch is quite high. It's wonderful to enjoy hearty Japanese cuisine in a traditional Kyoto setting. Including the ambiance, this is a place I would consider when I want to have a leisurely lunch in Kyoto. ✨
