I visited Yakitori Taniguchi at 8:30 PM on a holiday. I had wanted to go for a long time, but it’s a popular spot that’s hard to book. Luckily, I found an opening on the reservation site OMAKASE and made an immediate reservation.I’m not sure about the usual crowd, but on that day, there were two pairs of diners and five solo guests. Plus, there didn’t seem to be any regulars, so I didn’t feel out of place.The course was priced at JPY 13,200. I got to enjoy the delicious Kōsaka chicken.The meal started with consomme soup, followed by sashimi, tataki, and skewers.The portions were generous, allowing me to fully appreciate the quality of the ingredients.Wow, this was truly exceptional. It was incredibly delicious.The course started at 8:30 PM and lasted for two and a half hours, but there wasn’t much waiting time; I was just eating non-stop, and the time flew by.I ended up feeling more full than I expected.Next time, I think I’ll try the location in Tenjin. It was a great meal!
