First, the restaurant's location offers a stunning view of the sea from the hilltop. It would have been even better if the dinner time had been aligned with the sunset. However, just a few minutes away, there are beautifully illuminated churches, making for a wonderful pre-dinner stroll to enjoy the lights. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed at the reception on the first floor and taken to the second floor via the elevator. The reception staff quickly ascended the stairs to greet us again. After our meal, the same attentive service was provided as we took the elevator back down to the first floor, where staff were waiting to see us off at the restaurant door. I truly admire the level of hospitality alongside the exquisite cuisine. The wine list was impressive, featuring wonderful selections. Since the dishes were centered around Hakodate's seafood, we decided on a white bottle and a glass of red to pair with the main course. We enjoyed a 2023 Domontille Chardonnay with a lovely oak aroma, and for the red, we chose a glass of Burgundy Pinot.
