A renowned restaurant in Ikebukuro.It's among the top eel spots in Tokyo.This place is quite difficult to get into, as reservations fill up quickly after they open.Finally, my long-awaited visit has come true!Once seated, they prepare and grill the eel right in front of you, so it takes some time.We started with skewers and enjoyed various parts of the eel.The grilled eel collar was a part I usually don’t eat.The heart was a first for me, haha!At the end, we had two types: white grilled eel and kabayaki.The freshly prepared eel was even more delicious than the usual eel I eat, and it was light.The sauce was tasty, and the rice was freshly cooked.I ordered the large size, but it was so good that I wanted a second helping.Since it was my first visit, I only tried farmed eel, but I’d love to try wild eel next time.
