It’s been a while since I last visited Sawaishi. According to Tabelog, it ranks 2nd in the nationwide yakiniku category. Starting from 2026, they will offer set courses, but on Saturdays, you can still order a la carte.Unfortunately, when I visited at 20:30 on Saturday, they were out of the premium tongue and liver. However, even the regular tongue here is of higher quality than what you’d find at other places, so I was very satisfied. And then came the highly anticipated outside skirt! It was consistently thick and perfectly seasoned—just to my liking. The table spices are unique and can’t be found anywhere else.I definitely want to visit again!
