[Reservation Only: 4 Guests for Lunch and Dinner, One Seating Each]The tenderloin is unbelievably soft, accompanied by delightful rice and miso soup.I ordered the 3-piece serving of Elwyby pork tenderloin with a large bowl of rice for about JPY 9,500.This restaurant serves meticulously crafted tonkatsu, with only 4 guests allowed for both lunch and dinner, and only one seating each. The menu changes based on the day’s ingredients, so you need to provide up to three preferences in advance. I had chosen the loin as my first preference, but on that day, there was only one loin available, so I opted for the tenderloin instead.First, the rice. It was so glossy that I couldn’t help but feel grateful to be Japanese. At first glance, it seemed to be cooked a bit softer, but it had a nice core and was slightly firm. Truly delicious rice. The miso soup was filled with mushrooms and served at the perfect temperature. Honestly, I was already impressed just with the rice and miso soup. Now, onto the tenderloin. The cooking was impeccable, with a beautiful pink center. One piece was cut, which made me wonder why, but once I tasted it, the reason became clear. Despite its thickness, it was incredibly tender. I took a wild bite of the meaty tenderloin, and it was astonishingly soft. It’s quite difficult to secure a reservation at this restaurant, but I will do my best to visit again. It was a great meal!
