From the very first dish of stir-fried water spinach, cooked over firewood, I was captivated. The simplicity of the dish allowed the aroma of the wood and the excellent cooking technique to shine through, making me exclaim, "Delicious..." The sashimi was beautifully presented, served on a lotus leaf, adding a summery touch that left a lasting impression. The highlight of the evening was the corn rice, cooked right in front of me. As soon as the lid was lifted, a delightful aroma filled the air, bringing a smile to my face. The sweetness of the corn combined with the woodsy fragrance made it so delicious that I wanted to have multiple servings. Even the udon served at the end was crafted with care, leaving me completely satisfied until the very last bite. It was a wonderful evening, realizing how much the power of firewood can transform the dishes. I look forward to visiting this restaurant again in a different season.
