I recently visited Maki Tori Shin Kobe again.The location is in Akasaka, a hidden gem of a restaurant.Since it’s reservation only, you can’t enter without a booking.What makes this place special is that the yakitori is grilled over wood instead of charcoal, which is quite rare.They mainly serve Hinai jidori and Takasaka chicken.The skin is grilled to a perfect crisp, just the way I like it.Even the side dishes are delicious and well-prepared.The finishing touch, the seasoned rice, is a must-have for a second helping.With options for flavor variations, you’re sure to leave satisfied!The dessert was just as good as before.My next reservation is in 2028, so I had to pass this time, but I hope to return if I get the chance.It was a great meal!
