As the hot season approaches, I decided to visit this restaurant to enjoy some eel, which is great for preventing summer fatigue. They have two seating times at 15:00 and 18:00, and I went for the first seating at 15:00.On this day, they had quite a bit of natural eel available, so I was able to indulge in a generous comparison between natural and farmed eel. I appreciated the ample portions they grilled for us.Here’s what I enjoyed:◇ Eggplant with vinegar miso◇ Grilled eel with sauce◇ Grilled eel with salt◇ Grilled tenderloin◇ Grilled liver◇ Skewered eel tail◇ Sashimi of heart◇ Eel meat◇ Eel tail◇ Pickles◇ Natural eel head◇ Comparison of grilled natural and farmed eel◇ Comparison of kabayaki (grilled eel with sauce) of natural and farmed eel◇ Liver soupFirst, I savored the eel on skewers to fully appreciate its quality. Then, I compared the grilled eel and kabayaki. The unique aroma of each eel was distinctly different, making the comparison enjoyable, and each was grilled to perfection. They grilled it very close to the charcoal, achieving a charred finish just before it was done. This bold grilling technique really brought out the best in the eel, enhancing its texture and aroma.Although it can be difficult to make a reservation, I definitely want to visit this restaurant again. It was a great meal!
