A counter tempura restaurant in Nihonbashi.The omakase course is reasonably priced at JPY 16,500, but I noticed they started asking for additional orders at some point.On this day, I was asked if I wanted to add baby corn and squid.I’m not a fan of this style (since it’s omakase, I’d prefer not to be encouraged to order extra dishes that come with additional charges), but I ended up ordering the squid anyway...In the end, I had a decent amount of beer and Japanese sake, and my total bill came to just under JPY 30,000.I could have done without the squid.The large clam and fluffy eggplant were delicious.
