I visited on a Monday at 8:30 AM, even though the opening time is 9:00 AM. The parking lot was nearly full, so I took a number and waited in the air-conditioned dining area until it opened.Ten minutes before opening, I lined up according to my ticket number and ordered the type of udon—hot or cold—and the amount of noodles. When the time came, I received a bowl of "Udon Large" (JPY 500).Once inside, I added a "Raw Egg" (JPY 60) along with green onions and grated ginger, drizzled the dipping sauce over it, and topped it with "Chikuwa Tempura" (JPY 60) from the selection available. After settling the bill, I moved to the dining area.The noodles had a firm texture with a delightful chewiness, and I could taste the subtle sweetness and umami of the wheat. The soy sauce provided just the right amount of saltiness, complemented by the flavors of ginger and green onions. It was delicious, especially when enjoyed with the tempura.The pure deliciousness of the udon truly stood out, and it’s no surprise that there was a line to get in.
