I visited Ranmaru, located near Fudomae. I joined a private reservation for a friend's gathering. It's about a 10-minute walk from Fudomae Station. The sashimi of flat shell clam and surf clam was delicious. While the mackerel sushi was great, the standout was the kohada (gizzard shad). I forgot to take a picture, but we also ordered the Ranmaru Roll! The chef was very handsome and easy to talk to, making for a fun evening. It seems the next reservations are fully booked until next year. It was a great meal!
