Just a 3-minute walk from Nishikoyama Station. This was my first visit to Nishikoyama, and it seems like a pleasant neighborhood with shopping streets. On this day, I was invited by a fellow food enthusiast to check out caillou, a place I had been curious about. They offer French cuisine with an à la carte menu. The stylish interior has only table seating. After receiving an explanation of the ingredients for the day, I made my selections. I ordered:- Marinated firefly squid and clams- Fried zucchini flowersFor the main course, I chose two dishes: one featuring grilled threadfin bream stuffed with cabbage, and the other was their specialty, aged beef steak. Everything was delicious—truly exceptional dishes. I was also intrigued by the braised oxtail. This is definitely a place I want to return to. It was a great meal!
