I visited "Tokuha Motonari" located in Kuramaguchi, Kyoto.This restaurant serves Japanese cuisine in a traditional sukiya-style house.From the moment you step inside, the atmosphere changes, allowing you to enjoy not just the food but also the space and the presentation.The dishes respect the essence of classic Japanese cuisine while incorporating unique twists, providing surprises with each plate.What stood out the most was the deliciousness of the dashi (broth).It has a delicate and clear flavor, yet the umami is pronounced, beautifully enhancing the quality of the ingredients without overpowering them.The grilled dishes were cooked to perfection, allowing me to fully appreciate their aroma and texture.It's not just about using high-quality ingredients; you can feel the skill in how they are prepared to be delicious.The overall quality, including the food, tableware, ambiance, and service, is exceptional, making it a special place to savor your meal at a leisurely pace.It's a restaurant worth visiting again, even if it means traveling to Kyoto, and I look forward to experiencing it in a different season.
