This was my first visit to Iyuki. I was invited by a friend and senior colleague who is the president of a company. I traveled quite a distance just for this! Unfortunately, I couldn't take any photos, so I can't convey the stunning presentation of the dishes, but the flavors were top-notch. Many dishes had a deep taste enhanced by expertly crafted dashi. The meat served was exceptional, prepared with the best seasoning, which was truly impressive. And the signature Harasu rice was outstanding. It featured the belly of the Oosuke (King Salmon) from Niigata, bursting with the rich flavor of natural fat. As someone who is quite particular about salmon, I encountered the best grilled salmon I've had in a long time. The beef shigureni rice was also fantastic—I could eat bowl after bowl. The chirimen sansho rice was delicious too! I will definitely come back again.
