I visited this place with high expectations after reading reviews about the long lines. I arrived at 10:40, 50 minutes before opening, and was first in line. There’s a waiting area next to the entrance where you can sit (up to 6 people). They ask for your name, so it seems you can wait anywhere. However, it seemed I arrived too early, as the second person in line showed up at 11:10. The waiting area filled up about 5 minutes before opening, and in the end, there were 6 of us. I guess it varies by day.I ordered the coarsely ground soba for JPY 1,100. It took about 15 minutes to be served. The coarsely ground soba had a strong aroma and a delightful chewy texture. The dipping sauce was rich and flavorful without overpowering the soba's taste.The portion was quite modest, so it might not be enough for an adult male.The atmosphere was pleasant, and the soba was very refined. I can definitely see enjoying some Japanese sake here in the evening.
