On the second night in Sapporo, I visited Sushi no Kura. I arrived at the building well before my reservation, but I couldn't find the entrance to the restaurant. After using online information, it took me over 10 minutes to finally get inside.The meal consisted of 8 appetizers, a soup, and 9 pieces of nigiri. The nigiri had small rice portions and was made with red vinegar, but the toppings were exceptional. Even more impressive were the original appetizers, with the herring roe being particularly outstanding that day.Moreover, the cost-performance was excellent; including 3 servings of Japanese sake and 2 beers, our total bill for two people was comfortably under JPY 50,000, making for a wonderful evening.
