I made an on-the-day phone reservation for a weekday visit in May. From the moment I called, the chef's polite response left a great impression. Upon arriving at the restaurant, the hostess was equally courteous, exuding the charm of a renowned establishment. I learned that they moved to this location three years ago, and the interior is stylish and clean. The garden visible in the back is also quite lovely. Now, onto the food: the shirayaki (grilled eel) was absolutely delicious! The skin was crispy, and the flesh was tender. It's rare to find such amazing shirayaki. Additionally, the unaju (grilled eel over rice) had a perfect balance of sweetness in the sauce and a delightful char. I look forward to trying the evening course next time. It was a great meal!
