My friend made a reservation for me, and it was my first time at Joel Robuchon.I was a bit anxious about the drink prices, but I found out that champagne was JPY 4000 and glasses of wine started from the JPY 2000 range, which was a relief (though I wasn't recommended the options in the JPY 2000 range).So, I would say drinks are generally around JPY 4000 to JPY 6000.The most impressive part was the bread!There was a dessert cart, and although I didn't try all the varieties, I wish I had focused more on the bread because it was absolutely delicious.For the appetizer, I chose a summer-exclusive dish featuring tuna, but unfortunately, the tuna overshadowed everything else, which was a bit disappointing.(My friend really enjoyed it, so it varies from person to person.)For the main course, I had the lamb, and it was cooked to perfection.As for the caviar dish, it was just okay—nothing too special, as caviar is just caviar.The dessert cart was impressive, especially the second round of Petit Fleurs; it must have been quite a challenge to make them so small and intricate.Personally, I was disappointed that they allowed Instagram photography.Moreover, the surrounding people were clearly visible in the photos, which was a letdown since it was such a lovely space.I wish they would at least prohibit video recordings.One amusing moment was when a roast chicken was served at another table, and the entire restaurant was filled with the smell of a campfire, which made me laugh.
