The prices are not exactly casual, but I can't give up my seat at the chef's counter. This place is truly one of a kind. The quality is astonishing. The grilled Spear Squid with roe is, of course, perfect. The chawanmushi (steamed egg custard) is always delicious. It's not a word I use lightly, but the chef is a genius. I will be back in August.
