The tea kaiseki enjoyed at the counter was a luxurious experience that allowed me to appreciate not only the deliciousness of the dishes but also the moments of their creation. Watching each plate being prepared right in front of me, I could sense the chef's meticulous craftsmanship in everything from the selection of ingredients to the presentation. Each dish, while not extravagant, quietly revealed the flavors of the ingredients, leaving a lingering aftertaste. This delicate taste truly reflected the depth of Kyoto's cuisine. Moreover, the harmony of the tableware, seasonal decorations, and the timing of serving the dishes created a seamless flow, making it feel less like "eating food" and more like "experiencing the season and Kyoto." Simply saying it was delicious doesn’t quite capture it. This is a place that evokes the memory of dining in Kyoto. It was a great meal. The draft beer served was Ebisu.
