I thought I would never come here, but I saved the information about Suzaki Shokuryohin Ten, which is said to have the best udon in the world. Since it was close to my travel destination, I decided to give it a try. I arrived on a weekday at 11 AM, just 30 minutes before closing. Although there was a line, it seemed manageable, so I decided to wait. *I had researched beforehand that they ask whether you want hot or cold udon, which determines the line you join. They also ask if you want a small or large serving.* Once my udon was ready, I received it in a bowl and proceeded to add my own dipping sauce, green onions, ginger, and egg. Then, I topped it off with some fried items available in the shop and paid at the register. I enjoyed my udon at a nearby resting area across the street while holding my bowl. I was initially skeptical due to the unusually high ratings on Tabelog and the positive reviews online, but I was blown away. The texture was incredibly firm, and it had a quality I had never experienced with udon before. Honestly, I feel like I can't eat any other udon after this. I was contemplating a second bowl when they announced closing time. There were quite a few people even on a weekday, so I need to plan better for my next visit, but I was truly impressed. It was delicious! *Please note that there are no drinks available, so you’ll need to either bring your own or purchase them from the shop. There is a dedicated parking lot right in front and near the police box.*
