On a Friday during my Kagawa udon tour, I visited the well-known Suzaki Shokuryohin Ten as my first stop. The restaurant is famous for its firm and chewy noodles, but they often sell out by lunchtime, so I arrived at 10 AM. There were about 15 groups ahead of me, but the staff quickly served the noodles into bowls, and I added toppings (onsen tamago and chikuwa tempura) before paying at the register. I noticed that the cold bukkake udon was a popular choice, and of course, I ordered it as well. I thoroughly enjoyed the strong, chewy noodles—delicious as always! It was a great meal!
