That’s the well-known place on the multicultural street. It might just be the ultimate in the "dirty" dining scene.Reservations can only be made starting at 4 PM, but the ventilation inside is weak, so once everyone starts grilling the horumon, it gets so smoky you can’t see in front of you within 20 minutes.Definitely don’t wear your best clothes. If you love brands, you should debut at GU just to visit this place. The menu on the wall doesn’t have prices listed, but they’ll tell you if you ask. You can eat until you’re full for about JPY 8000, so it feels reasonable. Most dishes are around JPY 1000 each. Many people have posted about the meat, so I won’t go into detail, but the beauty of the kalbi was impressive. It wasn’t freezer-burned at all, and the marbling was beautiful. Just this alone shows how great this place is.The grill was made of binchotan charcoal, and I was impressed by how they properly divided the heat zones into low and high heat on either side. It’s a place you can go alone, so I think it’s a great spot to celebrate being in Shibuya. When it comes to yakiniku in Shibuya, I believe it’s a legendary showdown between Yuji and Dogen. You should definitely go while you can. I recommend making a reservation for 4 PM, as the variety of meat decreases quickly once they run out.
