I managed to visit Robuchon just before turning 30, as it’s said to be a place for "good women" before that age.I finally got to enjoy my dream of having Caviar Imperial and a delightful anniversary cake, and of course, the service was top-notch, leaving me completely satisfied.When I was seated, they asked if I drink alcohol and suggested starting with a toast of champagne. I casually said yes, only to be shocked that the champagne was JPY 8,500 a glass, but it was truly delicious.For my second drink, I opted for a bottle of wine, but the wine list was so extensive that I was completely lost. Embarrassingly, I requested a recommendation for something under JPY 30,000.I made my reservation through Table Check, waiting at midnight two months in advance. If you forget to wait at midnight, you won’t get a reservation, but if you do wait, it’s manageable to secure a spot.The course I chose was a JPY 33,000 prefix menu with two appetizers, one main dish, and one dessert. I was worried it might not be enough, but as expected, the bread cart, cheese cart, and two dessert carts were so impressive that I ended up feeling completely full.I was relieved to find that Caviar Imperial was available in any course, so I could enjoy it!All the breads looked so delicious that I seriously considered asking for one of each, but since I could request more at any time and they would be warmed up for me, I made a selection. In the end, I was too full to order any extras.By the way, I had heard that the women’s menu didn’t list prices, but they were actually included. Many of the items I was interested in had additional charges, and my final bill ended up being JPY 6,000 more than the course price, but it was still less than the budget listed on Tabelog!I was able to request the anniversary cake for an additional JPY 8,000. Since I couldn’t finish it, I took it home and enjoyed it the next day.
