It had been about 6 years since my last visit, and it was indeed a special place.I returned to ASAHINA Gastronome after a long time.My previous visit left a strong impression, and even after 6 years, the beauty and concept of the dishes remain intact. In fact, they seem even more refined now.We started with the amuse-bouche.The presentation was vibrant, featuring beet meringue, tomato tart, and carrot gâteau, reminiscent of an afternoon tea, which really lifted our spirits. The salmon trout with tomato jelly was visually stunning and had a refreshing taste. The dish with caviar also highlighted the deliciousness of the ingredients. What stood out the most was the quail and foie gras ballotine. The combination of rich foie gras and green peas was exquisite, and it might have been my favorite dish of the day.For the fish course, we had the sea bass and clams. The delicately cooked sea bass paired beautifully with the concentrated flavor of the clam essence. The main dish, lamb, was astonishingly tender, and it paired perfectly with the spiced tagine. The aroma of black truffle was a luxurious touch. For dessert, we enjoyed a refreshing pre-dessert of watermelon and chartreuse, followed by a cream puff made with Tahitian vanilla. The entire meal was thoughtfully composed, ensuring high satisfaction until the very end. This restaurant allows you to enjoy "gastronomy" not only through the food but also through the use of tableware, presentation, and the overall flow of the course. While it is certainly not a cheap place, I believe it is well worth it for anniversaries or special meals.Even after 6 years since my last visit, I feel that I could be moved again if I return in a few years.
