I believe this is the number one sushi place in Kumamoto. I think it ranks highly across all of Kyushu as well. It's one of the few restaurants that can prepare local fish from Amakusa in a fresh state. The rice is perfectly balanced—not too hard and not too soft. I would love to visit this place regularly, even if it means taking a flight.
