Kyogoku Zushi feels like a casual neighborhood sushi spot in Nagahama. It's laid-back yet the interior is clean, and the atmosphere is very welcoming for families.This time, we ordered various a la carte dishes. The tempura of octopus was delicious! They also had a good selection of drinks, making it a great place to enjoy while sipping.Considering it as a neighborhood sushi restaurant, the prices are a bit on the higher side. However, since we were traveling and the food was tasty, I think it was acceptable. Looking back, I might have enjoyed it more if I had chosen the omakase.The sashimi platter had pieces with either two or three slices. Since we were a group of four adults, it would have been nice if they could have arranged four slices each to match our number.We sat at a table this time, but sitting at the counter would allow for conversation with the chef, which seems even better. Overall, I appreciated the inviting atmosphere that made it easy to drop in!
