Hana Ichi is a popular spot with a retro atmosphere and the warm personalities of the owner and the chef. I've heard that due to their age, they might not operate next year, but I really hope they continue. Although it's an izakaya, the sashimi is delicious, and the hanpen (fish cake) and dashi-maki tamago (rolled omelet) are excellent.
