During my stay in Osaka, I visited this restaurant for lunch. From Namba-Machi, I headed south towards the Tenjinbashi-suji shopping street, and turned left at the point where the arcade ends (Toriisujin). The restaurant is located on the first floor of a building.I visited on a weekday at 12:00 PM and made a reservation online a month in advance.I ordered the "Lunch Menu Saison" (JPY 9,000). The order was confirmed at the time of reservation, and I added drinks separately. The course included the following:- A small appetizer to start- Bonito, grilled eggplant, and beets- Sea snail, mochi pork, and juicy tomatoes- A gift from Ehime- New onions and coffee- Seasonal fish, bamboo shoots, and chorizo- Venison from Seiyo City, Ehime- Chef's special dessert- Post-meal drinksThis course is a luxurious gem that prominently features Chef Murakami's hometown of Ehime. Even the tricolor French-themed napkin adds to the charm and excitement. Starting with the appetizers, I lost track of time as I enjoyed each dish, eagerly anticipating the next one, and before I knew it, I had finished the dessert. This delightful experience flew by in an instant. It's also great that such a substantial course is available for less than JPY 10,000, which is one of the wonderful aspects of Osaka, the city of food.
