We visited as a party of two and enjoyed about 10 meat dishes along with 6 drinks. My honest impression is that this place offers excellent cost performance. Just a month ago, I had visited Oniku in Nakatsu, Osaka. While the dishes at Oniku were more elaborate, I felt that Matsuda focused more on straightforward, ingredient-driven dishes. Both places seem to prioritize the rich flavor of lean meat over fat, which aligns perfectly with my preferences. The prices at Matsuda are about two-thirds of those at Oniku, which is a delightful point for a restaurant in Nara. The standout dishes at Matsuda were the beef tongue sashimi, hamburg steak, and Niku Taku.
