I visited for lunch. This eel restaurant has the best reviews in Matsumoto.I arrived around 1 PM and was told I could get in after a short wait, so I passed the time before returning.The unaju (grilled eel over rice) is priced in the 6,000 JPY range, which is quite bold. Of course, it’s delicious, and the pickles are excellent.The interior features a warm wooden counter and a few table seats. The courtyard design reminds me of a shop in Kyoto, which is quite stylish.It’s a relaxing place. Since lunch mainly focuses on unaju, which doesn’t vary much, I’d like to visit again for dinner to see how it compares.
