This was my first visit after being invited. I had the rare opportunity to sit at the counter for two. A truly kind couple welcomed us. According to the husband, the way they grill the eel is an old-fashioned technique that isn’t commonly practiced anymore. The texture of the skin is completely different from other eel restaurants. The pickled rice bran, passed down from the husband’s grandmother, has the perfect balance of flavor. The eel rice box was exceptionally beautiful, and the sweet and savory sauce was just exquisite. The eel was surprisingly beautiful. It was a great meal!
