This popular motsu restaurant is located just a 3-minute walk from Nishinakajima-Minamigata Station. The restaurant opens at 5 PM and operates on a two-turn system, with only about 10 counter seats available.I lined up at 5:40 PM and was first in line for the second turn, entering the restaurant at 7 PM.The signature dish, motsu nikomi (braised offal), was delicious with a light seasoning that really brought out the umami of the offal! The chire sashimi (raw offal) resembled raw liver but had a milder flavor. Unfortunately, I found the tongue to be a bit fishy, possibly due to my condition, which was disappointing.The boiled mino (mountain chain tripe) had an incredible texture, but I couldn't finish it all...I don't usually enjoy horumon (offal) that much, and with so many raw dishes, I started to feel a bit queasy and couldn't fully enjoy the meal.The interior had a nostalgic Showa-era vibe, making it a comfortable place to be. I plan to get my condition back in order and give it another try.
